:iconillegibilus:

• Name: Natsuki Atsuko/Roseheart (Well, technically it’s supposed to be only Natsuki Roseheart, buuuttttt…just read the background for the explanation =v=” )

• Age: 15

• Gender: Female

• Height: 5’6

• Weight: 110 lbs

• Birthday: December 31st

• Nationality: Half English and Half Japanese

• House: Hufflepuff

• Year: 5th

• Personality:

Natsuki was born quiet/soft spoken and reserved. She is also incredibly shy, which is why she always tries to become invisible to people/hide from people, which is pretty easy since she has a pretty (VERY) low/small presence. However, because she’s this shy, once she gets too much attention or becomes embarrassed, she is a total ditz/becomes the clumsiest person alive. Though she wasn’t born shy. Her shyness just comes from her “homeschooled her entire life and has never met so many strangers at the same time before” background (Main reason for her shyness is eye contact, which is why she wears those huge fake glasses of hers//they don't get rid of her shyness, just helps it so that she's at least able to try to talk to someone). And so, once she trusts and gets used to you, she becomes a very friendly person. That background of hers is also the reason for her being naive/innocent, since she was sheltered her entire life. She is also full of mannerisms and etiquette because of her father teaching her how to become a proper lady ever since she was a child.

Now, Natsuki is also quite (EXTREMELY) stubborn at times, clumsy, very curious, and….is very easily depressed. For her stubbornness, she just inherited it from her mother who reinforced it with lessons about keeping a strong will. As for her clumsiness, she tends to zone out a lot/is prone to daydreaming, which causes her to do things like trip over nothing or drinking soy sauce instead of water. Because of her staying in her home for the majority of her life, Natsuki gained a huge curiosity about the world that she lives in. That’s why she’s always trying to learn new things, and becomes excited doing so. As to her being easily depressed…that was just somehow inherited from her father. And since Natsuki had low self-esteem/confidence to begin with, she just becomes extremely depressed over the most simplest of things. And to go along with her easily depressed nature, she’s also quite pessimistic (Can be negative at times as well), as well as belittles herself (Meaning she thinks everyone and everything is much more important than herself).

Natsuki hates lying as well as liars, which is why she’s so honest. You could also say that because of her huge dislike of them, she is the worst liar ever. For example, what would normally happen would normally happen would be that first she lies to someone, then she feels so guilty within a 5 second time period that she confesses about it right after, and then goes to crouch in some random dark corner and mutter utterly depressing thoughts to herself.

Lastly, Natsuki isn’t really, but can be considered fearless, tends to overreact and panic a lot (as well as very easily), and can actually be scary. Now for fearless, it’s not really because she’s “fearless” but more like most of the things people would be scared of, she’d consider it…cute. Why? Because her sense of cuteness is a bit weird. For the overreacting and panicking part, because of her way of thinking, she tends to go straight to the worse possible scenario. An example would be that if you got a paper cut, she'll think that you're going to bleed to death. And then she'd just let her feelings get the best of her, causing her to panic. As for her being scary, it’s trues. She can be scary…no wait…TERRIFYING actually. She is a very tolerant and patient person, but once she snaps……you’d think she would murder someone. Luckily for you though, it’s kind of impossible for her to snap, so that’ll probably never happen…..probably.

• Background: (1st paragraph is about the mom, 2nd paragraph is about the dad, and the 3rd and 4th paragraph is about Natsuki. So if you’re feeling lazy, you can just skip the 1st 2 paragraphs =v= )

Mitsuki was born into a traditional Japanese family with magical parents, a wizard and a witch. The family took great pride in their traditional Japanese ways as well as their magic. And so, instead of sending her off to Japan’s school for witches and wizards, they just sent her off to a normal muggle school. This way, they could engrain everything a proper Japanese lady should know into her mind while teaching her magic themselves. Plus, this way she could live a normal life. However, Mitsuki didn’t care about having a normal life at all. Because of her pure Japanese and pureblood background, she thought really highly of herself. And then, she was very interested in the magic word, too. So, she was a very anti-social individual who would just spend her entire free time looking up and learning new spells and charms, as well as a few magic experiments here and there, instead of trying to make friends. This was how it was until college, when she met the idiot who would be her future husband.

Edward was a normal person (muggle) who was born into a wealthy family. Other than being taught mannerisms, etiquette, and such, he lived a normal life. He went to school in England up until college, when he went to study abroad in Japan. The opportunity sounded fun, and he was curious as to what it was like in a different country. Although he was excited, he didn’t really expect anything particularly special to happen while he was there. Which was why meeting Mitsuki, falling in love with her, and proposing twice before getting married was totally unexpected. He had to propose twice because the first time he proposed, they only spent 2 weeks’ worth of time together. so he was immediately, coldly, flatly rejected. Then a few years after, after learning more about eachother (including her being a witch), he proposed again. Mitsuki was hesitant at first (because this would mean giving up on continuing the pureblood line), but agreed in the end. After they graduated, Edward brought Mitsuki with him back to England, and there they lived happily together.

It wasn’t long before Natsuki was born. The reason she has a Japanese name instead of an English one, as well as the reason as to why she’s called, “Natsuki Atsuko”, instead of, “Natsuki Roseheart” (Even though that’s what it says on her birth certificate), is because of Mitsuki’s Japanese pride. She wanted to have her daughter to become just like her, which meant raising her just like how her parents raised herself. And having a Japanese name just helps to keep Natsuki as Japanese as possible. Though, her husband wasn’t going to let that happen as well as she thought. But that’ll all come into play later, so back to Natsuki’s birth. Natsuki was born incredibly sick. And by sick, I mean that she kept catching fevers and had a frail body. Her parents worried about her health and gave her medicine every day, taking care of her 24/7. Although it wasn’t life-threatening, she was too weak to really move much. And that’s why she was homeschooled by her parents, spending the majority of her life in her room (in her bed), not allowed to step outside of her home (not like she could have in the 1st place). That’s how it was for 5 years. However, those 5 years weren’t miserable. She got to spend time with her parents every day. They did various things, one of them, being them introducing music to Natsuki. They had a piano in her bedroom, and her mother would sing while her father played it. She enjoyed it so much she gained a love for singing and piano herself. Now, although she enjoyed everything they did for/with her, Natsuki thought of herself as a bother. She wasn’t able to do anything for them, and yet, she was making them waste their time for her. She thought that there were plenty of other things that they’d rather be doing then spending time with her, and she also felt horrible for making their minds filled with only worry for her health. Of course, not wanting to trouble them even further, she kept all of this a secret. And so, she just did the only thing she could, and that was being a good child. She went to sleep when told, never breaking the curfew, ate what was given and never complained, did everything assigned to her (stuff from her parents homeschooling her) in a studious manner, and much more.

After she turned 5, her health turned for the better. She was slowly getting less and less fevers, and her strength was increasing. It wasn’t long before she was able to walk around and do things like a normal child. Her parents were incredibly happy because their child was healthy. Natsuki was happy because she can stop being a bother and start doing things for them. And starting from that day, her parents started to teach her many things, continuing to homeschool her but adding a few more….electives. Her mother began teaching her Japanese language, culture, behavior, history, pastimes, ect., as well as how to use magic……and…well…..she also tried to teach her how to give icy glares and other things that’ll make her more like herself. Her father on the other hand wanted Natsuki to fit in with the other English kids, as well as making her into a nice and polite little lady. Since he wanted her to make friends, not scare them off. After a while, her mother stopped her “fear” lessons because Natsuki didn’t seem have it in her (personality’s more like her father) and plus, rather than learning it seemed to have been scaring her. By the time she was eleven, she had learned enough to blend in with both the Japanese and English. At this time, a letter also arrived, which was an invitation to attend Hogwarts. Deciding to let Natsuki out into the world and make some friends, they sent her off. At first, she was enthusiastic and excited about it, but then when she saw how many people were there…..her shyness kicked in. But she managed to survive by blending in with the crowd and going by unnoticed while still doing well in her studies.

Natsuki is currently in her fifth year at Hogwarts. Despite spending many years there, she is still as shy as ever. But, after stalking observing many people and seeing how having friends seemed nice, she has finally strengthened her resolve to at least ATTEMPT to gain some friends of her own. Well, that and or the fact that her father has been worried about her graduating from Hogwarts without making a single friend (evident in the letters she has received).

• Wand Ingredients -

Core: Unicorn Hair

Length: 12 inches

Flexibility: Hard

• Pet -

Name: Kuro

Species: Black Cat

Gender: Female

Personality: Kuro is a very lazy cat who mostly just sleeps/takes naps all day. She has a mature personality, and remains stoic almost 24/7. However, she is very overprotective of Natsuki. Meaning she wouldn’t hesitate to jump onto someone and scratch their face off if she feels that they are threatening her.

• Extra -

- Natsuki has incredibly low stamina because of how little exercise she got due to her sickness as a child (But don't underestimate her speed, since she is used to running away from people). And although she rarely gets sick nowadays, when she does, she gets REALLY sick.

- When she trusts you completely and becomes your friend, like I said, she becomes very friendly. But to add to that, it’ll seem like she wasn’t shy in the first place, though she is still quiet, reserved, and ect. . She also seems to..forget about “personal space” in a way that she’ll give free hugs and such without giving a second thought.

- Yes, Natsuki is a great friend since she’s loyal, a great listener, super nice, and such (hufflepuff traits), but to be honest…I would recommend not befriending her if you can’t handle her depressing moments. I mean, they can get pretty annoying….and might even make you go all depressed, too.

- Another example of her belittling herself, not wanting to trouble others, as well as her being a horrible liar is her being hurt or sick. It’ll be super obvious that there’s something wrong, but then she’ll deny it and say that she’s perfectly fine….and then confess right after guiltily that she lied……and then drag herself away feeling like she’s a horrible person for lying.

- Depending on the level of how depressed she is (yes, there are several levels, usually giving her something sweet would change her mood back to normal. If she’s on a level where that doesn’t work…then…ahahaha….good luck =v=”

- Because of her following her curfews perfectly during her childhood, there’s like a built in clock inside of her head. And so, she can’t stay up pass 10:00 at night. She’d just fall asleep at that moment no matter what she was doing at that moment.

- In case you couldn’t figure it out, she’s a half-blood, with her muggle dad and pureblood mom.

- She’s trusts other too easily, and can be easily tricked. For example, to her, anyone who gives others sweets or likes sweets, is a good person.

- Book smart and has a great memory, but is incredibly slow in other stuff.

- Her favorite place to sleep is on trees. And I mean on the trees' branches. The reason ebing that Kuro loved to sleep on them, and Natsuki got curious as to why. After trying it out, she ended liking it a lot, too.....Though there is one problem. She always has trouble coming down =v="

- DO NOT. TAKE OFF. HER GLASSES.

- 2 things about Kuro: Kuro, her pet cat, is usually napping or just sitting on Natsuki's head. For some reason it's just really comfortable for her. Another thing is that her tail isn't bandaged because it's injured. It's just that she injured her tail one day, but no one would help a stray cat like herself. And then Natsuki found her (when she got lost) in some random alley, trying to stop the blood as well as the pain. Immediately, she picked her up and started to patch her up, despite Kuro scratching at Natsuki's hands. And then when all was said and done, Kuro realized that she was just trying to help, and that she had just scratched up/injured her benefactor's hands. But then Natsuki seemed happy despite the pain that she must have been feeling and just walked away after giving a small warning to be careful.....before walking into a wall. Kuro decided to follow her out of curiosity, just to find out Natsuki was terribly lost. A lot of days passed with Kuro just following and observing Natsuki before she finally gave in from seeing what a hopeless person Natsuki was (too lazy to go into details of everything that happened). She just decided to stay with her until she she thinks that Natsuki'll be fine on her own (But she grew fond of her and has found out first hand from experience that Natsuki will never change, so she's now staying with her permeantly). Natsuki had no problem with keeping her since she has always wanted a pet. Now, to the main point, Kuro just makes Natsuki bandage that part of her tail every day to remember that random act of kindness, and plus, you can consider it as a replacement for a collar.

- I REPEAT. DO NOT. TAKE OFF. HER GLASSES. SERIOUSLY. JUST DON'T.
