Description

:iconu-n-l-o-c-k:

Name: Tachibana, Akiko

Nickname: Aki (Feel free to make up/give her as many nicknames as you want~)

Age: 16

Gender: Female

Birthday: 31/10

Height/Weight: 175cm // 50 kg

Year: 2nd year

Nationality: Japanese

Roommate/Housemate: Koizumi Yuzuki fav.me/d77th7r

Club: Basketball

Personality:

- Stubborn: When she wants to do something, she’s going to do it, and the same thing goes for when she doesn’t want to do something. Even if it means that her decision would injure her.

+ Loyal: If you become her friend, she’ll be the most loyal and trustworthy friend you’ll ever have, even though it may not seem like it. But yeah, she’s the friend that would never abandon you.

+ Courageous/Brave: Nothing seems to scare her and she never runs away from anything.

+ Hard-working: She hates losing, and so, she works hard so that doesn’t happen. And if she does lose, she works harder to become stronger at whatever she lost in. And whatever she does, she does it with her all, putting in 200% effort. Though, the only thing that she can't work hard on, is homework and such. She just finds it so boring that she can't get into it =v="

+/- Honest/Blunt: She hates to lie and find no reason to. And so, she always speaks her mind, though because of her non-sugar coating ways, her opinions might hurt at times. But then, that doesn’t mean that she never lies. The only times that she ever lies is when….um..she’s having one of those tsundere moments and just doesn’t want to tell you her true feelings.....but then, that doesn't mean that she's good at lieing....meaning that she's pretty bad at it.

= Tomboy: She’s probably the most boyish girl you’ll ever know.

+ Strong-willed: Don’t expect her to give up. When she has decided to do something, no matter how hard or impossible it might be, she’ll finish it.

- Childish: She can be mischievous, have short tantrums, selfish, jealous, ect., and so basically, she just acts like a kid at times....and can be very annoying.

- Impatient/Straightforward: She does not like to wait. If you made plans with her and is late, she’ll do one of 2 things. One is that she’ll just leave and not bother to wait for you. And two is that she’ll wait till you arrive just to punch you for being late. And because of her being impatient, she's also straight forward, getting right to the point.

- Clumsy: She’s unexpectantly clumsy, thus, getting hurt quite a lot (tripping, walking into walls, paper cuts, ect.). She seems to keep it under control when doing sports by paying extra attention to it, but in her daily life/outside of sports....it's pretty obvious.

+ Fair/Has a strong sense of justice: Bullying, cheating, cutting in line, stealing, ect., are all acts that Akiko will not stand. If she catches you doing any of those, prepare for some pain.

- Impulsive: She has a habit to do things without thinking…..a lot. This causes her to get into troublesome scenarios quite a lot as well as charge into fights and other things. She just tends to act first, think later.

- Proud/Competitive: Let’s just say that she’s prideful, and believes that she can do anything as long as she puts in the effort. This is also why you can get her to do things most of the time if you just praise her enough, as well as get her to be nicer to you if you regard her highly. She's also very a bit competitive. So beware random contests and such if she's regarded you as a worthy rival.

- Short tempered/Low tolerance: Ahahaha....let's just say that you don't want to try her. For friends or when she's at school, she might try to hold back a bit....but there's only so much that she can tolerate.

Biography: (WARNING: GREAT WALL OF CHINA AHEAD)

Akiko Uta was born into a rich family. She had everything she wanted, and was a graceful and elegant child who seemed to be the perfect little princess...But that's only what it seemed like to outsiders. In reality, it was a lie. Yes, she was born into a rich family with her parents being owners of this huge company, but she didn't have anything that she wanted. Dresses, jewelry, she never liked them, and yet she was forced to wear them. She was also forced to take lessons on mannerisms, etiquette, dance, and other things that she could have cared less about. She was a tomboy ever since birth, and just wanted to live a normal life and do stuff normal kids her age would be doing. She wanted to wear hoodies and shorts instead of fancy dresses that were super tight. She wanted to go and run outside and play in the mud instead of walking back and forth for hours with a pile of books on her head. But she couldn't. Her parents wanted to shape her into their ideal daughter, and so, obviously they wouldn't allow her to act the way she wanted. And even though Akiko hated everything they were forcing onto her, she still loved them. They were still her parents, after all. She also knew that because she was their only child, when she grew up, she’ll have to inherit the companies, since there was no one else they could entrust them to. The companies were big and successful only because of her parents’ hard work over many years, and if she rebelled against the path given to her, it would mean throwing all those years of hard work away. And so, with that thought in mind, she endured it….well for the most part she did. She did argue and complain at times, but would do what she was told and what needed to be done, she was obedient. How could someone like her be so obedient? Well, there are 2 reasons. One was that, since she barely spent time with her parents, the maids and butlers were basically the only people who raised her. They were nicer to her and embraced her tomboy nature, as well as played with her a bit and exchange a few jokes here and there. Being able to act the way she liked when her parents weren't watching, prevented her personality from being completely erased and replaced with a princess-like one. The other one was something that started on this one particular day. Her parents were really busy with work to pay attention to her on that day, and she also had a break from classes that day, too. And she was incredibly bored. She really loved the fact that she had a lot of freedom today, but there were only lady-like activities that she could do. And no matter how many times she did it, it was just in her nature to hate them. And so, she just walked along the halls, looking out the windows....when she saw a kid her age sneaking into her backyard to retrieve what seemed to be a basket ball. She couldn't care less about him, but she was curious as to how he managed to get in, and so she watched. She found out that him and his friends managed to make a tiny hole in the fence, to sneak in, and then poorly hid it with leaves and such so that no one would know. And of course, Akiko couldn't let this chance slip by. She dressed up like a boy with the clothes she secretly asked a maid to buy her, and snuck out to the park from that small hole in the fence on her backyard, which she made sure to properly hide with bushes and leaves. At the park, she met the boys that snuck into her backyard. She just introduced herself with a nickname she gave herself, "Aki", and played different games with them, which may have seemed like stupid competitions and pranks, but thy were fun. She liked it so much that she kept sneaking out whenever she could since then, and soon, the 3 of them became friends (2 guys + Akiko). From acting like her true self and play games with the guys, she lost a lot of the stress she got from all the pretending and such that she did, and made it easier for her to deal with it, too. And because her personality matching perfectly with her disguise, no one thought of her as anyone else besides just another boy. Now, you may ask why she needed a disguise in the first place. The reason was because, since her family were pretty distinguished and well known, especially in the city that they lived in, she would be recognized and her parents would find out. And she knew that her so called “unrefined” personality would be used to embarrass her parents by their competitors/rivals and partners, whom most of them she hated (They were mostly snobs) yet had to pretend to be nice to at formal parties and gatherings.

Since Akiko was homeschooled by the tutors that her parents paid, she was able to continue doing that for years, slowly making the hole bigger and bigger and harder to hide because of her growing body. But still, her parents never noticed, and the maids and butlers were the only ones who knew, and they obviously kept it a secret. And so, her fun with her friends at the park continued…until that one day when she got into her first fight. You see, on that day, she went to the park as usual. The trip there was normal, too. But when she got there, she noticed an older looking guy bullying a little girl, who was a complete stranger to her. But because of her sense of justice, she jumped right in and stood up to the guy, which led to them fighting (The little girl took that chance and ran away). Obviously, the guy was stronger, and almost defeated her, but before he landed a finishing blow, her 2 friends arrived at the park and noticed the fight. They all ran up to the guy, one kicking the guy in “that area”, and the other tripping him. They then distracted him by insulting and teasing him after he managed to get up. Using that chance, Akiko ran up the slide and jumped off, jump kicking him in the head and knocking him unconscious. And although she laughed off the injuries, thanked them for coming to her/his rescue.....she did in fact get badly injured and realized how weak she was. She always thought of herself as being equal to her friends until then. But seeing how she might have been just as weak as the girl she tried to save, she got really depressed at the thought. And starting from this time, she began to train herself more and more so that she wouldn't need to depend on her friends' help ever again. since, she just really hated the feeling of being weak. When she snuck back home, she was going to hurry and bandage herself up and try to hide her injuries, but something unexpected happened. Her parents were home early that day. They saw her injured self in dirty common boy’s wear, and obviously, were surprised and mad. And even though she wouldn’t tell them anything no matter how many times they asked her what she was doing, they found the hole in which she used to sneak out, which was enough to tell them that she had been sneaking off. At that time, they decided to become stricter. And coincidentally, Akiko was at the age when people usually start middle school. And so, they fixed up the hole as well as make the fence stronger and taller, put security cameras around the house, and had her go to school while having to be driven there by a butler or maid (the parents became even stricter on the maids and butlers, too, so they couldn't let her sneak off anymore and such) and then driven back right after school. And the school that they sent her to was one of those elite ones that were mostly filled with snobby rich people and a few super smart people on scholarships. And because of being constantly on watch, she wasn't able to go to the park and play anymore, which would just make all of her stress to build up, having no way to unleash it. But Akiko played the "princess" act for all 3 years of middle school. Not because she was scared of getting into trouble or anything like that, but because she had a plan.

During her summer vacation after graduating from middle school, she threw away the princess act. She began to dress the way she wanted, act the way she wanted, and did what she wanted. She also broke all of the secret cameras, and hid/ran away from her maid and butler supervisors. She also continued to go to the park. Obviously, since she wasn't in her disguise, they didn't recognize her at first, which was why they were a bit hesitant to believe her when she said that she was "Aki". But after telling them all of the memories she had with them, and showing them her personality, they believed her. And then they continued to play/hangout together just like before. But then she noticed something different. Although the 2 guys did do their best to act just like they've always had, they were a bit less rowdy with her, and treated her more like...well..a girl. That's obvious since you can't treat a girl the same way you treat a guy. But she hated it. Especially when they would hold back and let her win sometimes when they competed against each other. They were just being nice or "gentlemanly", but Akiko took it as that she was too weak compared to them, that if they went all out, they could easily beat her. And because she was their friend, they decided to hold back. Of course, she never told her that that's what she thought, but she did tell them to stop acting all "gentlemanly" and to just treat her more like a guy, as well as convince them to stop holding back and letting her win on purpose.

When her parents found out, they were obviously enraged by this and scolded her harshly. But Akiko knew that that would happen. At that moment, she proposed a deal. She said that if in only one year, she can get a better reputation and more well liked then when she was  "princess" by acting the way she was, they had to grant her one wish. If she ends up disgracing her family, become hated, ect., then she'd continue the "princess" act 24/7, meaning for the rest of her life. And with no complaints. They obviously agreed because to them, the ideal daughter was a "princess". A well mannered and kind individual who surpass others in beauty and academics, a graceful lady that other girls aspire to be. And so, they thought that Akiko would obviously lose.....But they were proven wrong.

When her 1st year of high school started, things were definitely a bit shaky. After all, Akiko's former classmates were greeted by this delinquent looking tomboy instead of that kind graceful angel. But then after a while, everyone got used to it, and her popularity began to grow. She helped the basketball team as a substitute when needed in a few competitions/games, and then there was this one incident when she saved a classmate from bullies who were delinquents from another school. Although people liked her more now because they know of her sense of justice, she began to get into more fights, since now her strength became more well known after more and more gangs wanted to fight her (She did lose more than she did win, but because of her hate of losses and her recklessness, she continuously challenged the ones she lost to until she won. And that somehow boosted her popularity). Her honesty and courage was also liked by her parents rivals and partners. Since she said what they needed to hear and not what they wanted to hear, they deemed her trustworthy. Some even changed for the better because she voiced her opinions. A lot of other things happened, too, but the main point is that she won. During the summer after she finished her 1st year of high school, her parents reluctantly asked her what her wish was. And what she said surprised them. She said her wish was to move to the Seiyo Islands and live there herself. She wanted to move there since she would be out of her parents, preventing them from nagging and scolding her as well as give herself more freedom. She also wanted to start anew, and that place would be perfect, since no one there would know about her family, since they don’t have any of their companies located there. Her parents were hesitant and were planning to go and move with her to keep a watch on her, but she convinced them otherwise by saying that she would be transferring into the prestigious Seiyo Academy and that she promises to not get a single bad grade there. She also promised that if they got news that she did something bad, then they can force her to move back with them. Her parents agreed, but made her make another promise. They said that since she seemed to value sports more than her academics, that she better excel in them, and that she needs to write them a letter once every month. Akiko gladly accepted the sports part, and also agreed to the 2nd part about the letters, but a bit more reluctantly (She also writes to her 2 friends). Right afterwards, she began to pack and got ready for the transfer and move. She managed to get there and finish everything right before her 2nd year of high school began.

Currently, Akiko is living on her own in her own home. She didn’t want to rely on her parents’ money, so she works various part time jobs to pay for her needs and the house fees. The number of fights she’s gotten into exponentially decreased, since no one really knows her. But for the few people who do know her, and that she does end up fighting, she keeps it all a secret, so that her parents won’t find out. She also keeps the injuries she gets a secret, too. Obviously, the smaller one, like cuts and bruises, she doesn't care about. But the bigger ones, she makes sure to hide. Why? Because she feels that people will start to pity her, and that if she can't handle the pain herself, she'd be considered weak. Nonetheless, Akiko seems to be happier here at Seiyo Academy, since it seems that the people here were more full of personality and such. Some false rumors seem to have followed her here to this school, but that doesn’t bother her at all. “Being feared means that they acknowledge my strength!”, is how she thinks of it, and besides, sooner or later they’ll find out the truth if they decide to get to know her more. Which will definitely happen, since she has decided to definitely make friends.

Currently, Akiko is living away from her parents on the student island and has successfully transferred to Seiyo Academy. The number of fights she’s gotten into exponentially decreased, too, since no one really knows her. But for the few people who do know her, and that she does end up fighting, she keeps it all a secret, so that her parents won’t find out. She also keeps the injuries she gets a secret, too. Obviously, the smaller one, like cuts and bruises, she doesn't care about and would just stick a band aid on it. But the bigger ones, she makes sure to hide under her clothes or make it seem like they don't hurt or affect her at all by pretending that it doesn't exist or saying stuff like, "Ha, it's proof/a symbol of my manliness!", or, "It's like a medal that reminds me of my win!" Why? Because she feels that people will start to pity her, and that if she can't handle the pain herself, she'd be considered weak. Which will definitely happen, since she has decided to definitely make friends, as well as master as many sports as she can. Her previous school mainly focused on academics, so she only has experience in basketball and boxing. Basketball from school, and boxing from classes that she took after school from when she stopped her princess act. And although she may be considered good at them, she's is still far from mastering them because of her own clumsiness. But that doesn't stop her from trying to reach her goal~

Quote: “I accept your challenge!”

Relationships: I finally updated her relationships! ;7;

:iconmacabun: Teo, Louise (Lil Lou Lou) : Basically, someone that's just as competitive as Akiko is, as well as someone who Akiko has taken a liking to due to their similarities (like their blunt-ness, like like/love for sports/ ect.). They 1st met in PE, where they paired up for a few basketball drills...which led to a full on game...which led to a race to the locker rooms. Akiko would love to become good friends with her one day (something she'd never actually say) but then with competitions being the only thing on her mind when they happen to meet, it'll be a while before it actually happens. So for now, she's just going to be her all time rival~

:iconpiyodayo: Yamashita, Jun (Juney) : A great cook, and someone to go to for free food when she forgets her bento. And although she thinks that he's a nice guy, she finds it kind of annoying how clean she has to be to eat. She also finds it a bit relieving to know that there's someone who's as bad as a liar as she is.

:iconapplepai: Corea Juon (Korea) : Akiko likes to tease him a lot, as she finds it very enjoyable. She also enjoys competing with him as well, though she really hopes to avoid getting into a swimming contest....since...letting him know that she can't swim...would really damage her pride (especially after all of the boasting she did about how great and manly she was).

:iconbrawwr: Hanabusa, Nao (Na-chan): They're.......well......I guess you can say that......they're not exactly friends.....but let's say it's kind of like a like-hate relationship (He hates her, but she finds him interesting)? Their 1st meeting was basically him knocking her over, her punching him in the face and then her questioning his manliness, so yeah =v=" But she does kind of like him, or more like, she's able to stand him and finds it fun to annoy him. Maybe one day they'll become actual friends......maybe...

:iconaisareru: Mihara, Yamato (Princess) : Akiko finds him/his personality (not his WHOLE personality but lets say most traits) extremely annoying and would love to give him a punch or two. But then at the same time, she sees him as her rival in the sport of Kendo (so far they've only had 1 match, and she lost). She does not hate him, but then she doesn't love him. She likes to annoy him, and is able to hold back her annoyance every now and then.

Voice: Ookami Ryouko from the anime Ookami-san to Shichinin no Nakamatachi youtu.be/vct4Q_yDXUM (Sorry if it's bad, it was the only example I could find =v=" )

Extra:

- She can't swim, and there are 2 main reasons why. The first reason is that she's never gotten the chance to learn. And although she is able to learn it now, now that she has more freedom...well, this is where the second reason comes into play. The second reason is that she finds swimsuits embarrassing to wear. They show too much skin, which makes her a bit embarrassed (Oh, what's this? One of the few girl-like sides of Akiko~?).

- Just like how normal girls would fawn over clothes, Akiko would fawn over equipment. An example would be cool looking boxing gloves that were in great condition.

- She’s a tsundere who has “violent tendencies”.

- She's not boastful (..most of the time..) or anything, but she has her pride (Ok, she has a lot of pride), and let's just say..you don't want to step on it.

- She is almost mostly seen with bandages and a lollipop in her mouth. And then, she doesn't talk to people unless talked to. And to top it off, she's super strong and is pretty tall. And so, when the students first saw her, they thought she was some sort of delinquent or something, and so some people feared her and don't approach her. But she doesn't mind. She kind of likes it, since that means that they believe in her strength.

- She loves lollipops, but that doesn’t mean that she has a sweet tooth and loves sweets. Lollipops just happened to be her favorite thing to eat. For her taste, she happens to love to try things that are extreme. Examples would be something super spicy, super sour, super bitter, ect., since she thinks of eating them like a challenge. Plus, she thinks it’s fun. This also goes to things that don’t….seem edible. So if you’re not a great cook and need someone to test taste them, you know who to get.

- She wants to excel at all sports, so she doesn’t really have a favorite. But if she had to say, she does like boxing quite a lot.

- There are quite a lot of rumors about her, and they are all false. One is that she smokes, but she’s actually just constantly seen with a lollipop in her mouth. Another one is that she picks fights with gangs all the time, which is kind of true. She does fight quite a lot, but they are either just sparring matches, challenges, or situations where she can’t help but fight. Examples of that would be stopping a bully or some delinquents/gangs picking a fight with her.

- For all of her injuries, she just uses a band aid and/or hospital tape. She’s also almost always seen with band aids and/or hospital tape on, too. Yes, some of them are injuries from fights, but most of the time…it’s because of her own clumsiness. Yes, despite being a skilled athlete, she’s actually really clumsy.

-She usually falls asleep or doesn't pay attention in class at all, not trying that much in her academics. But she does try hard enough to get B’s or higher on normal tests and quizzes, and does her homework every now and then. She’ll have to go back home if she gets horrible grades after all. You might be wondering how she manages to even get those kinds of grades though, and that's from....her secretly studying/cramming sessions. She's too proud to ask for help/tutoring, so she's only able to get average grades, which she's fine with (She was only able to get grades as a "princess" because she had rather strict tutors who would make sure things stuck in her brain). She's not stupid, but she's just not that strong academically, which is why she hates complicated things/problems.

-Want to impress her? Then compliments, flowers, your looks, your grades, and such won't work. You'll have to prove to her your strength/ how strong you are physically, show how strong your will is, show how courageous you are, and/or show her your determination. Basically, she just wants to see how manly you are whether you’re a female or a male.

- She never refuses a challenge no matter what it is or how high the chances of her losing are....but if she does lose, she's going to be really upset, and then end up challenging you again and again until she beats you....and if you're just too good, be prepared to be rivals for eternity~

- It’s pretty hard to get her to do something when she doesn’t want to, since she’s stubborn, but if you praise her enough, there’s a chance she just might Because of her pride. But on the other hand, if she wants to do something, there is absolutely no way to stop her/change her mind.

- Akiko LOVES Halloween. She doesn’t really care much for the costume part, but she really likes getting lollipops, scaring people, tricking/playing pranks on people, and the fact that there’s a lot of orange (from the Jack- O-Lanterns and such).

- She keeps everything regarding her family a secret (wants a completely normal life after all).

- She hates owing people favors and asking for help (it's a pride thing).

- Yes, she's wearing tights under that skirt, so there's no need for her to hold back on kicking anyone +w+

- She hates to show weakness in front of anyone, so you'll probably never see her cry and such (does it in secret). And you'd probably never notice that she actually gets pretty down when she loses or that she does consider herself weak at times/crack in her self confidence. But, if you go watch a movie or even just a TV show with her, and it's a good one, she'll openly be very emotional to it. For example, if it's a sad movie, she'll cry waterfalls of tears. Since to her, it's completely different then showing her weakness.

|| GUARDIAN CHARACTER || (HATCHED)

Name: Rika

Gender: Female

Would be Self: She symbolizes Akiko’s want to become stronger (both inside and out) as well as her want to excel in all kinds of sports (like a Jack of all Trades).

Personality: Although it might seem like she has nothing in common with Akiko with her being much more mature, cool-headed, and composed, her competitiveness, being a tomboy, and love of sports is on the same level as Akiko's. One other thing that you may not see often (due to her being really low tempered), is that she's just as scary as Akiko as well, when she's mad (though Akiko seems to be the only one that could anger her at the moment).

Extra:

- The day during the summer right before Akiko was going to the Seiyo Islands, she was practicing her boxing moves in her room with a punching bag. When she finished and went to grab her towel that was on her bed, she grabbed an egg, that was on it instead. Akiko had no idea where it came from, and tried to find out if it was an actual egg (since it had that picture on it), probably almost breaking it in the process. In the end, she just decided to keep and brought it with her to the Seiyo Islands. After all, the egg was orange, her favorite color, and she liked the picture on it as well. Plus, strangely enough, she felt some sort of connection to it, too.
